Every year, thousands of cats are in need of food and medical care. Rescue shelters play a vital role in providing these essentials, but they often face challenges in meeting the needs of every cat. In West Michigan, Harbor Humane Society in West Olive, MI, stands out as a dedicated shelter working tirelessly to give animals a second chance. Recently, CatCause stepped in to support this shelter by fulfilling Wishlist items and providing direct aid through cat food donations.

Today was one of those days that quietly reinforced why CatCause exists. After receiving our first month donations in January 2026, we worked with a local Petco retail network to coordinate directly with a shelter so that support reached where it was truly needed.
